What makes our school unique is that most students are boarder and their first important lesson is learning to get along with one another. We provide a nurturing and student-friendly campus supported by Christian values.
At the Junior Campus boys have everything they need to thrive. They’re looked after by our wonderful teaching and boarding house staff, who offer a helping hand whenever needed. In the words of one of our boys, “it really is a magic place”.
Our aim is to give each boy the chance to find his unique talents and strengths. We have specialist teachers and smaller class sizes, meaning more teachers are involved in a student’s education. This allows us to gain a broader view of each boy's performance and wellbeing so we can cater to their specific needs.
We set high expectations and standards, but also encourage and reward success that comes from having a positive attitude and making meaningful effort.
Our approach works, reflected in the fact that by the end of Year 8, all students are at or above the national standard in literacy and numeracy. All students are learning musical instruments, playing sports, making friends and establishing good study habits to last them a lifetime.
