As a parent, guardian or caregiver of a Dilworth School student, you are automatically a member of Dilworth Family Connect (DFC) and are welcome to be involved.
The DFC networks strengthen the support and friendship between Dilworth families, and between our families and the school.
We encourage you to attend DFC events and school activities to meet other people on the Dilworth journey. Dilworth life is different from other schools, so everyone helps each other by sharing experiences and answering questions.
Dilworth Family Connect covers a range of activities throughout the year, including:
DFC has evolved from 30 years of the Dilworth Friendship Club. Due to a generous annual donation from the Dilworth Trust Board, we can focus on supporting our community of families.
Become more involved with the school by joining DFC Friends and giving your time at events and activities.
The Friends group is at the heart of DFC. Like the boys developing their friendships and bonds, our families build strong bonds at school and beyond.
Give as much or as little time as you can. We know how busy families are, but if everyone can contribute a little, then the group can do more.
DFC Friends receive a monthly email newsletter with helpful tips from other parents and caregivers and emails requesting help from Friends for our events.
A 10-strong committee of volunteers guides the management of the DFC. Committee members have sons who are at Dilworth or have recently attended. In addition, an administrator assists the committee.
