We are extremely blessed and honoured to be House Parents at Isabella Dilworth Lodge. Together with our family, we welcome Dilworth students to Isabella Dilworth Lodge when they are facing emotional challenges that impact their wellbeing.
As members of the Tongan community, we have an innate passion to serve our communities. It is this desire to serve that has led us to careers focused around education, health and wellbeing. We have been together for over 10 years, spending 5 of these married, and have made a home with our nephew Bailey and our son Taven who was born in 2020.
Sione is a former student and current Physical Education Teacher and Rugby Coach at Dilworth School. Sione is on leave from his teaching role for 2022. Sarah is a Pacific Psychologist who has an extensive background in mental health and wellbeing. Sarah currently works as a Lecturer at the University of Auckland with leadership roles across teaching and research.
As House Parents we will provide a safe, enriching and homely environment for Dilworth students to ensure they feel comfortable and supported during their stay at Isabella Dilworth Lodge. We are aware of the duty of care entrusted to us and we value our role as House Parents in service to the Dilworth community.
