Online Applications for 2027 are now open

Securing a life-changing scholarship for your young man could be one of the best decisions you ever make. It starts by filling in an online application form. 

Before completing your application please make sure you have read and familiarised yourself with the admissions criteria and admissions process.

We strongly recommend that you start the process as soon as possible. You can start the application form and save it for completion at a later date. 

Application Checklist – Please Prepare Before Starting Your Online Application
To complete your application, please ensure you have the following documents ready:

  • Student’s NZ Birth Certificate or NZ Passport or NZ Citizenship documents or Permanent Resident Visa (PRV + passport copy)
  • School reports for 2024 and 2025, including both mid-year and end-of-year reports
  • Most up-to-date Immunisation certificate obtained from your GP or family doctor. (Plunket booklet NOT Acceptable)
  • Summary of both parents’ income from the previous tax year (ending March 2025) retrieved from Inland Revenue (myIR)
  • Parent's Support Letter - Outlining your family circumstances, relevant details about the student, and reasons for wanting your child to attend Dilworth
  • Student’s Letter - Outlining the student’s interests and reasons for applying
  • Court Orders or Parenting Plans (if applicable)

Important: Applications will not be considered if any required documentation is missing.
 
We strongly recommend that you check you have all the documents ready before starting the online application. Preparing in advance will ensure your application process is smooth and complete.

If you are applying for Year 7, 8 or 9, you will be able to select whether you want your young man to be a day student or a boarder.

Your young man’s immunisation status is a printout from the National Immunisation Register - here is an example of what this looks like.
