Participation in co-curricular activities including drama, dance and Kapa Haka are strongly encouraged. The key activities we offer include:

Duke of Edinburgh Awards

Students are able to gain their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award with many of the campus activities in the outdoors and community volunteering activities counting towards this award.

One of our important goals is to improve the fitness levels of students. Boys train regularly in a range of disciplines to develop core strength and aerobic fitness. Activities include cross-country and road running, callisthenics, circuit and interval training.

Music tuition

Students learning musical instruments will have the opportunity for tuition on a weekly basis with trained itinerant music teachers who come to the campus.

Unlike other Dilworth campuses, Rural Campus students are not involved in organised inter-school sport. However boys take part in inter-house and cabin sport.

Every year we have exchanges with both Strathallan College and Hauraki Plains College.  Boys can also participate in school-wide sporting events at the Senior Campus including athletics and swimming sports days.

If a student is at regional representative level in a sport, it is possible for leave to be arranged for training and matches.
