All Dilworth students are awarded a full boarding scholarship that includes tuition, books, uniforms, sports fees and music tuition. It is a significant scholarship, worth more than $35,000 per year.
What makes Dilworth different from most independent schools which offer boarding, is that our students are not selected based on academic or sporting achievement. Dilworth boys are selected based on family need and a boy’s suitability for our boarding environment.
Applications for Dilworth School are open between February and July each year for entry at the beginning of the following academic year. Each year there are around 48 places for Year 7 students. There may also be very limited places for Year 6, Year 8 and Year 9 students.
We understand that our school, application process and selection criteria are unique. We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions from parents and caregivers who are looking to apply for a Dilworth scholarship and answered them.
