Scholarships

What is a Dilworth Scholarship?

The scholarship covers:

  • Tuition
  • Boarding
  • Uniform
  • Books and Stationery
  • Music tuition
  • Approved sports coaching

Scholarships awarded for places at the Junior Campus (Years 5, 6, 7, 8) are for the Junior Campus only. An application system is in place for Year 8 students at the Junior Campus to be considered for scholarships to the Rural Campus, Year 9 (continuing on to the Senior Campus, Year 10 to Year 12).

Boys wishing to proceed to Year 13 are required to submit an application for entry to this level, detailing their personal goals in terms of academic work and of providing leadership within the Dilworth community. Each boy is then interviewed prior to approval being granted for him to continue his education at Dilworth School.

Application forms will be supplied at the appropriate times.

It is emphasized however that Scholarships may be reviewed at any time.

The Trustees may terminate a scholarship:

  • If significant behavioural issues arise
  • If it is considered that a student is not making the best use of his scholarship
  • If it is deemed to be in the best interests of either the boy or the School Community as a whole.
